Stay Focused Ministries was founded out Of a deeply personal transformation. Manuel Carrizalez, once caught in a cycle of violence and incarceration, found redemption and purpose through faith. His life change became the foundation for a mission that now reaches hundreds of families and youth in Kern County. His Story is a testament to what’s possible when compassion, resilience, and spiritual commitment come together to serve others.
Since 1991, Stay Focused Ministries has grown into a trusted, boots-on-the-ground organization that stands beside families through their most challenging moments offering mentorship, crisis intervention. spiritual guidance, and community outreach. We understand the deep pain that can be caused by broken homes, violence, poverty, and a lack of opportunity. But we also believe in the power of relationships and consistency to break those cycles.

Our programs, especially Reach 4 Greatness. are designed to connect vulnerable youti with committed adults who serve as mentors, guides, and role models. We also support parents and caregivers with tools to rebuild their families and their faith, creating homes where healing and
growth can take root.
